AAIS MOSQUE UPDATE (22/10/2021)

The Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS)’s Executive Committee would like to inform you of the following important information regarding the re-opening of AAIS Facilities as Government restrictions are eased due to Covid-19.

🕌 AAIS Mosque 🕌

As of Friday, 22 October 2021, the Albanian Mosque will reopen for all 5 daily prayers for a maximum of 20 worshippers (indoors) at the allocated prayer times and will be closed in between prayers.

🕌 All worshippers must be fully vaccinated in order to attend prayers at the AAIS Mosque

🕌 Jumu’ah prayer at the AAIS Mosque has a limit of 20 people.

🕌 There will be 2 sessions held at 1:05pm and 1:35pm and no booking is required.

The following must be adhered to pray at the Mosque:

  1. Face masks must be worn at all times in the mosque (unless medical exemption)
  2. Bring your own prayer mat
  3. Registration of details upon entry
  4. Social distancing rules must be adhered to as per government instructions.

As soon as the prayer is finished, members must exit the Mosque immediately and not remain around to socialise.
