On the Monday 31st of July 2006, over 15 members of the Albanian Australian Islamic Society (AAIS) came together to participate in Australia’s National Tree Day.
National Tree Day is Australia’s biggest community tree planting event.
We all enjoyed a lovely day at Clifton Hill planting trees for this worthy cause. Later, we indulged in pizza followed by coffee, tea and biscuits.

DITA E MBJELLJES SË PEMËVE
Më 31 korrik 2006, mbi 15 anëtarë të Shoqatës Islamike Shqiptare Australiane (AAIS) u mblodhën për të marrë pjesë në ‘Ditën Kombëtare Australiane të Mbjelljes së Pemëve’.
Dita e mbjelljes së pemëve është ngjarja më e madhe e komunitetit për mbjelljen e pemëve. Ne të gjithë u kënaqem me një ditë të bukur duke mbjell pemë në vendin Clifton Hill.
Ne më vonë shijuam disa pica tw ndjekur me kafe, çaj dhe biskota.
Këshilli i AAIS-it dhe Këshilli i Grave do të donin të shprehin mirënjohjen e tyre për të gjithë ata që morën pjesë në këtë ngjarje.
